Essential Healthy Handfuls is a high-fiber food with a good balance of nutrients that help maintain proper nutrition, weight, digestive function and dental health of active small rodents. Hamsters and gerbils love this blend of timothy hay, oats and barley. Contains no seeds, high sugar fruit, artificial preservatives and dyes.
Healthy Handfuls is not suitable for gestating or lactating animals. Serve this food with Oxbow hays to encourage foraging and to provide environmental enrichment.

Feeding instructions

Growth (0-6 months): at will.
Adults (more than 6 months): Variety of small hamsters – 10gr. per day
Variety of large hamsters and gerbils – 24gr. per day.
Also offer meadow hay or small amounts of alfalfa (alfalfa) hay.

Hamsters are known to hoard and hide their food, especially females or those housed with other hamsters. Be sure to check that they have food supplies and regular daily rations as listed above.
