PSITTACUS Lory Gel 1 kg

It is a complementary food for adult psittacines of the Loriini tribe. It’s rich in high-quality proteins and contains hibiscus pollen and flowers.
It’s recommended to feed it at the same time as Nectar Loris. Both products are complementary and should be used in separate containers. Birds ingest more or less quantities of one or the other product depending on their nutritional needs. Both Gel Loris and Nectar Loris can be administered dry and/or mixed with water. Using dry products improves stool consistency.
If Gel Loris and Nectar Loris are mixed with water, the mixture should have the consistency of a creamy mush. It should be prepared in the right amount for quick consumption to prevent fermentation and contamination.
It is recommended to supplement the diet with fresh fruits and vegetables to provide variety.
When there are chicks to feed in the nest, it is recommended that the birds also have neonatal fruit feed or loris feed available (depending on the age of the chicks).
As a guide, these birds ingest between 8 and 16 g of dry gel and nectar per 100 g of body weight.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: Avoid simultaneous use with drinking water to which choline chloride has been added. Store in a cool, dry place. It is recommended to provide it dry and together with Lory Nectar, also dry and in a separate feeder.
